We celebrated our 5 year anniversary on 12-18-11 at a steak house and afterward drove to various places in the city that held some personal meaning to us. Our “Anniversary Tour” took us to our old high school ,our childhood homes, and the final stop was my best friend’s mother’s house. Cory asked me to get out of the car and we walked to the middle of the yard. He took my hands into his and said ,“I brought you here because this is where I fell in love with you. The past 5 years have been the best years of my life and I don’t know where I would be without you. I’m usually a very indecisive person but I’m very sure about this decision.“ He got down on one knee and asked, “Will you marry me?” In shock I asked him if this was really happening and then blurted out, “Of course!” The rest is history. =)
